What Does ACAT Do?
ACAT advises government, Campus Alberta, Alberta Transfer System member institutions and the system, working cooperatively with stakeholders to support learner pathways and student mobility. This support includes:
Providing planning tools and information
Fostering best practices for admissions and transfer
Facilitating pathway transitions from secondary to post-secondary and between post-secondary programs and institutions, including effective transferability of courses and programs
ACAT's focus is on ensuring students have the flexibility to create a unique learner pathway that supports movement between programs and institutions, while also maintaining the province's high quality standards for education.
